My Story

I’m a parent of two young kids—one of whom is disabled. Through that journey, I’ve learned what it’s like to navigate many systems—medical, financial, educational, and beyond—in support of my child. Even with access to quality medical care and resources, I’ve felt the heavy load of decision-making, advocacy, and persistence required to care for a child with developmental differences. I started Root & Raise to help other parents & caregivers who are in the same situation.

Before this chapter, I spent a decade in the corporate world managing complex projects, advising business leaders, and guiding strategies with big impacts. Those experiences sharpened my skills in problem-solving, planning, and communication—skills I now use to support families as they face their own complex journeys.

After years balancing caregiving with corporate leadership, I launched Root & Raise to align my professional experience with my heart’s work: helping families like mine lighten the mental load so they have more space for peace, clarity, and connection.
